    • James Hyde married Jane Andrews after the death of her husband Andrew Gillam to who she had 4 children.
      James had purchased a 25acre (approx) block at Haldon Rd, Allora, Qld where he farmed and lived after his marriage to Jane. Approx 6 weeks after the marriage, James died from a kick to the head by a horse, leave the pregant Jane (with James Hyde) to rear her now 5 children on the farm. Jane, the first Queensland teacher went back teaching as well as doing seasonal cropping.

      On her death the block as passed to her son James who married Emily Daniels. The block was later passed to Jane, the elders daughter of James who with her husband, iniatially continued the lease of the block to Mr Sprock, and then sold the block to him.
