      269. The following Obituary Notice of Jane Hyde which appeared
      on Pg.2, in the Manchester Evening Herald, on Wednesday,
      June 7th, 1939:

      MISS JANE HYDE

      Miss Jane Hyde, long time resident of Manchester, died
      yesterday at the Talcoville Convalescent home after a
      short illness. Miss Hyde who was 78 years old was born
      in Ireland and lived in this town for 58 years. She was a
      member of St. Mary’s Episcopal church, and since the death
      of her brother, George Hyde, had made her home with her
      sister-in-law, Mrs. Agnes Hyde of 58 Church street. She
      leaves a number of nieces and nephews in this town.

      The funeral will take place Thursday at 3 o’clock at the
      Thomas G. Dougan Funeral Home, 59 Holl street. Rev. James
      Stuart Neil, rectorof St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will
      officiate, and burial will be in the East Cemetery. The
      funeral home will be open tonight after 7 o’clock.
