    • Blairs of Scotlands lists mother as Isabel Hamilton F, #256432, d. October 1575.
      Grizel Sempill was the daughter of Robert Sempill, 3rd Lord Sempill and Isabel Hamilton. She and James Hamilton, 1st of Stonehouse were divorced before 21 February 1545/46.2
      She married, secondly, John Blair, son of John Blair and Margaret Cunningham on 11 May 1565.
      She married, 3rd of Raploch and Isabel Weir of Blackwood, before 10 March 1539/40.2 She died in October 1575.
      From before 10 March 1539/40, her married name became Hamilton.
      From 11 May 1565, her married name became Blair.
