  Emily Jane Hyde Jean aended Qld Uni, was a Qld Girl Guide Commissioner, Art mistress at Kedron High School, and selected in the 1940 Olympics team for hockey to play in Rome. It was later canceled due to the war. In 1978 she fulfilled a life long ambition to go back to Rome, but unfortunately died from a heart aack on that visit. She is burried in Rome.
